Run for Jack Air Ambulance Fundraiser

Two young men are raising money for the Great North Air Ambulance in memory of a young Penrith AFC player who tragically lost his life.

In May 2021, Jack Taylor was tragically killed in a road accident. Jack had been a player at Penrith Football Club and his cousin Luke Boyle, now the Kirkoswald Manager, and Jack’s lifelong friend Cameron Prokas, also a Penrith player, are planning to run four miles every four hours for 48 hours.

As the Great North Air Ambulance relies on all of us to help them continue to save lives, Luke and Cameron’s efforts not only support this worthy cause but commemorate a much loved family member and friend too.

The run starts on the 11th February at 6.00pm and ends at Frenchfield Park on the 13th February at 6.00pm.

The organisers would love as many people as possible to not only support this worthy cause but to join them at Frenchfield Park on Monday 13th to celebrate Luke and Cameron’s amazing efforts.
