North West two day interactive workshop

Cumbria Chamber and Eco-Innovation are running a two-day interactive workshop. Free for North West based businesses, the two day practical workshop is aimed at SMEs in the North-West area starting their low-carbon innovation journey and looking for opportunities to support them to become a low carbon business.

In partnership with Manchester Met and Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, the in-person event will be held at Roundthorn Country House in Penrith on the 22nd and 23rd of November.

Over the course of the two days the programme will cover things like the essentials of the climate emergency, understanding your business and its environmental impact, identifying opportunities for innovation, and how to develop pathways that can take businesses from their current practice to the next stage.

Once the workshop is finished, businesses will have the chance to work closely with Manchester Met to implement innovations in their organisation through things like biofuels, hydrogen, 3D printing and more.

If you are interested in learning how your organisation can adapt to the threats and opportunities from the climate emergency and how they can thrive in a net zero world, find out more here.
