Businesses across Cumbria are being encouraged to take advantage of a new fully funded training programme designed to develop workforce skills, improve workplace wellbeing and support long-term business growth.
The Skills Bridge programme, delivered by Cumbria Adult Learning, has been launched to provide free, flexible training for businesses and employees across the region. Tailored to meet employer needs, the initiative aims to help organisations build healthier, more skilled workplaces while equipping staff with valuable skills for the future.
Donna St-Claire, Westmorland and Furness Council’s Senior Manager for Education and Skills, said:
“A healthy and skilled workplace is one where staff and managers work collaboratively, using a continuous improvement approach to develop skills. By providing flexible, high-quality training tailored to employer needs, our Skills Bridge programme is helping to create stronger, healthier workplaces while equipping people with the skills they need now and in the future.”
