Local business leaders and managers are invited to attend “Leadership in Action – Live”, a free, in-person leadership event hosted by the Centre for Leadership Performance, taking place in Penrith on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
Held at the Roundthorn Hotel, this one-day event (9am–3pm) brings together managers, team leaders and business owners from across the county to explore the impact of effective leadership, share real success stories, and connect with other local organisations.
The event marks the Centre’s first live gathering focused on its First Line Manager (FLM) programme, which supports the development of management capability across Cumbria. Attendees will hear directly from people who have taken part in the programme, learning how it has helped them build confidence, strengthen teams and improve workplace performance.
