Local employers are invited to a series of November round-table events led by Westmorland & Furness Council in partnership with Cumbria Chamber of Commerce. The sessions will explore how best to support recruitment, training and progression across Barrow, Eden and South Lakeland while showcasing current offers available to businesses.
With national policy focused on getting more people into work and local data highlighting lower skills levels and declining employer training investment, your insight is vital. Council members, senior leaders and partners will join an open discussion on how services can be designed around the realities of running a business today.
Short presentations will be delivered by Adult Learning, the Chamber’s Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) team, Enterprising Cumbria, Inspira, PHX Training and the Centre for Leadership Performance, with time to discuss your individual business needs.
