Who are Cumbria’s Electric Vehicle Charging Partnership?

Cumbria’s Electric Vehicle Charging Partnership is a group of organisations from across Cumbria, who are working together to deliver a co-ordinated approach to addressing the future EV charging needs of the county.

The Cumbria OPE Programme has been working to develop effective partnership engagement for almost three years now, in order to create economic growth, integrate services to be more customer focussed and generate efficiencies.

The partners involved include all the local authorities, Cumbria County Council, Cumbria Constabulary, Cumbria LEP, Cumbria Tourism, the LDNPA, NCIC and Sellafield Ltd. The partnership has engaged with several EV Charging Infrastructure specialists to develop a strategy that will be the most effective for Cumbria and consider both residents’ and visitors’ needs going forward.

The event will see the launch of C-Volt, the Electric Vehicle Charging Partnerships Strategy on the recommended roll out of EV charging across the county.
