COP26 Community Fund

To celebrate and continue the momentum of the COP26 event in Glasgow, Eden District Council have allocated £160k for the 2022/2023 period to this fund.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have found a refuge in outdoor spaces. They have become more conscious of the state of the natural environment and they have renewed their sense of community.

The COP26 community fund will support community-led sustainability projects across the Eden district. These include tackling climate change, protecting and enhancing biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions.

Grants are available to community groups and organisations. Applicants must show how their project or event will contribute to the sustainability of Eden’s communities.
