All eligible businesses in England can apply for grant funding.
From the Department for International Trade, these match-funded grants are from £1,000-£9,000.
Businesses wanting to apply will need to fund a proportion of the costs themselves, which varies depending on where the business is based and will be 40 or 50% of the total cost.
At the moment, the fund is only available throughout England and applications for business in London have now closed.
This fund can support things like:
- Market research
- Intellectual property advice
- Translation services
- International social media /SEO
- Trade fairs, where no TAP funding is available
- Independent market visits
- Consultancy and other international commercial services
Is your business eligible?
To be eligible for the fund, your business must fall into the following categories:
- Based in England
- small to medium-sized with p to 250 employees
- annual turnover is less than €50 million or the annual balance sheet does not exceed €43 million
- Have no more than 25% of capital or voting rights owned by another company or companies if the collective total of the ownership group exceeds the threshold above
- Own no more than 25% of another company or companies if the collective total of the ownership group exceeds the threshold outlined above
