2 Market Square Enterprise Hub – Have Your Say

2 Market Square Enterprise Hub – Have Your Say.

Westmorland and Furness Council has secured funding to create a new enterprise hub in the centre of Penrith. The 2 Market Square Enterprise Hub is reaching out to hear from local businesses, giving them the chance to shape the hub’s future offerings and make sure that it meets their needs.

The 2 Market Square Enterprise Hub will be based in the old Barclay’s Bank building in the centre of Penrith. It will be designed to support and grow rural enterprise across the Eden Valley and has been backed by £4.09m of Levelling Up funding. It will provide a catalyst for business growth, innovation, and collaboration, providing local businesses with high-quality premises on flexible terms, alongside vital business support services including training, mentoring, funding advice, and networking opportunities.

Throughout September, they’re speaking with businesses of all kinds and sizes to understand what kinds of support would help local businesses thrive and grow.

They can gather input via an online or in-person meeting, and there is also a comprehensive questionnaire, which you can find here – https://survey.zohopublic.eu/zs/BJEFAf

If you’re able to come along to one of the in-person sessions in the Parish Rooms in the centre of Penrith they can provide more information about the proposed hub. There is a full list of the sessions at https://2marketsquare.co.uk/.
